Before graduation day, the students from the School for the Blind took a biology field trip in the wild. Each student was given a worksheet stating what to search for in our diverse ecosystems in Colorado, identifying and answering questions about plants, animals and fungi. The students also experienced the diverse weather conditions of Colorado with rain and sunshine throughout the day at various altitudes. Study trips, like this, are important for our students to have hands-on experience with the environment in which they live.
