Middle school students and high school students from the School for the Blind went caroling in the community. First, the students sang for children being treated at the Children’s Hospital and then offered instruments for the children to play so they could join in the music. The children, their families, and the hospital staff enjoyed the students’ caroling.
Then, the students went to Residence at Skyway Park, an assisted living facility for the elderly. The residents loved getting to see and hear our students perform, many of them singing along. The field trip was a great success, with the students giving back to the community, practicing their performing skills, and thoroughly enjoying themselves!
