Colorado Hearing Resource Coordinator

The Colorado Hearing Resource Coordinator (CO-Hear Coordinator) is a trained professional who works with children who are deaf and hard of hearing and their families.  The CO-Hear Coordinator is also knowledgeable about systems and resources within a given community.  This individual works closely with other agencies and organizations in an attempt to provide a comprehensive system within the community to serve the needs of each family. The role of the CO-Hear Coordinator is to provide families with young children who are deaf or hard of hearing support and unbiased information, empowering them to make informed decisions for their child.  CO-Hear Coordinator services are offered to all families in Colorado with children (newborn-age 3) who are deaf or hard of hearing and families with newly-identified children (over age 3), regardless of income or funding source.
