Welcome to our BULLDOG COUNTRY Athletic Website!

The Colorado School for the Deaf and the Blind Athletic program sponsors seven Interscholastic competitive sports for Middle School and High School students, Special Olympics, and as well as offering Elementary level opportunities. CSDB has won several district, regional, and state championships especially in Football (8-Man -1977), Wrestling (Individuals) and Track (individuals and relay team).

The Colorado School for the Deaf and the Blind has been a member of the Black Forest League since 1965 and has numerous athletic accomplishments with the league. The Black Forest League is under the direction of the Colorado High School Activities Association, CHSAA.

We believe that our athletes have achieved in academic standards. “Athletics and Education… A Winning Combination… Love Those Bulldogs!” Each year at the sports banquet, we recognize our outstanding academic-athlete achievers – “The CSDB Active Scholar”  and “The Eva B. Fraser Award”.

We compete at all levels and in all sports. Endurance, fortitude, inner strength, physical talent and abilities are evident in all athletes from “Special Olympians” to “State Champions.”  We believe athletic involvement allows our entire student body at CSDB an opportunity to make a positive contribution towards the surrounding community as a whole. I strongly encourage parents support the coaches and the sports program. I also expect you all to have positive sportsmanship conduct towards referees, coaches, athletes, spectators, visitors and administrators.

I look forward to a competitive season with great BULLDOG PRIDE!

Please feel free to contact me should you have any questions or concerns.
