Students in the Bridges to Life program learn about a variety of community agencies that provide services for adults. These students, who are 18-21 years old, recently toured the Pikes Peak Workforce Center. They registered for appropriate services, and used a database when looking for competitive jobs.
The students also engaged in a scavenger hunt around the Colorado Springs area. Using public transportation, groups of students followed a series of questions to learn about services in the community. Each group had to collect signatures from various workers in the community.
