Cool Science

She is smiling and wearing glovesRecently, a science program known as “Cool Science” visited the School for the Blind, for an afternoon workshop. Students enjoyed five different activity stations. They experienced experiments that involved sound, smell, taste and touch.

The activities allowed for a review of concepts taught this year, including the oobleck station and the dry ice station where the students discussed states of matter. The experiments also provided exposure to new sounds, smells, and textures. The students learned a lot and really enjoyed the afternoon.
