Survival Club BBQ

Girl, who is blind, swings a plastic bat at the beeper pinataStudents and staff, in the Student Life program for students who are blind, celebrated the end of the school year with an off-campus BBQ, at Bear Creek Park. The park was a perfect location with a picnic pavilion, playground, and running stream.

Students enjoyed party music and group activities including beep horse shoe toss, egg relays, beep capture the flag, piñata fun and so much more!

Students and staff worked together to prepare and cook burgers and brats, along with lots of other tasty treats! Teamwork was evident as members of the Survival Club efficiently extinguished the hot charcoals while others packed and cleaned up, after the event. It was a perfect ending to the 2016-2017 school year.
