Literacy
Center
The Literacy Center is a place where
all components of literacy can be developed and reinforced. Students
work in the center individually or in groups on activities designed to
support the development of ASL and English skills using research-based
practices and state of the art technology. Reading components
learned include vocabulary, comprehension, fluency and phonetic principle
through speech or ASL phonology, phonological awareness and letter
identification skill.

We are collaborating to make the center a place that students have choices about learning activities, see that all literacy connects and enjoy learning.
