Did Shared Reading turn out to be what you expected?

vAt the beginning of SRP, we didn’t know many signs and now are picking up new signs. It’s really helping.
vMy youngest daughter is picking up a lot of signs, too and talks all the time.
I've learned more words through SRP than ASL classes.
vSRP gave us the capability to communicate better with our child.

What would you tell other parents about SRP?

•They should go for it, especially if they have other kids. (Sister) goes and gets the books herself. I just read it and she tells me “not that way!” She wants me to sign it. It has increased their interest in books.
•I recommend you start at an early age. It’s very fun and useful.
•It is good and helps the child to get interested in reading books.
