Library and Information Services: General Information

The libraries at the Colorado School for the Deaf and the Blind provide materials and information in a variety of formats for students who are Deaf/hard-of-hearing and/or blind/visually impaired, as well as their parents and those who work with them. Most items may be borrowed by anyone with a Colorado Library Card (available at public and academic libraries throughout Colorado) or through interlibrary loan from any library.

The libraries are open Monday through Friday during  the school year from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Because school activities sometimes interrupt this schedule, it is recommended that persons call before coming in person to either library.

  • Adams Library is located at the School for the Blind Education Building and is supervised by Diann Cullen (719-578-2205 or dcullen@csdb.org).

Requests for registration information or requests for materials may be directed to the above e-mail addresses or to the school at 33 N. Institute, Colorado Springs, CO 80903.
