Welcome to our BULLDOG COUNTRY Athletic Website!

The Colorado School for the Deaf and the Blind Athletic program sponsors seven interscholastic competitive sports for Middle School and High School students including Special Olympics, Goalball, as well as offering Elementary level opportunities. CSDB has won several district, regional, and state championships especially in Football (8-Man -1977), Wrestling (Individuals) and Track (individuals and relay team).

Black Forest League (BFL)

The Colorado School for the Deaf and the Blind has been a member of the Black Forest League since 1965 and has numerous athletic accomplishments with the league. The Black Forest League is under the direction of the Colorado High School Activities Association, CHSAA. The Black Forest League has two divisions in District 7, 1A and 2A.

Directions to CSDB

The CSDB Gymnasium is located on the east side of campus on Hancock Avenue.

From: Highway I-25 take exit #142 onto Bijou Street, head east, make a left on Bijou Street. Pass the intersection of Cascade Avenue, turn slight right onto west Kiowa Street. Continue on Kiowa to Institute Street turn left onto High Street,  turn right onto Hancock Avenue. The Gym is on the right side on the corner of Hancock and Pikes Peak Avenue.

From: US 24 West (Platte Avenue) follow Platte Avenue to Hancock Avenue make a left onto Hancock Avenue, Gym is on the right hand side. If you pass Pikes Peak Avenue you have gone too far.

From: US 24 East (Platte Avenue) follow Platte Avenue to Hancock Avenue make a left on Hancock Avenue, Gym is on the right hand side. If you pass Pikes Peak Avenue you have gone too far.

The Colorado School for the Deaf and the Blind Alumni Association, selects and votes on past athletes/coaches that have represented CSDB, the honorees are honored at the Homecoming Festivities each year.  Their names are engraved and placed on the Hall of Fame plaque that is posted in the gymnasium.

Booster Pass can be purchased at the Department of Athletics’ office for $25.00 per person/per year. This pass is good for all athletic event home games only.

Booster Passes will not be honored at any invitational or tournament events held at CSDB.

In event of a school closure on the day of an athletic competition, the contest is cancelled and will be re-scheduled by the Athletic Director. Practice is also cancelled for the day.

In event of a school delay (2 hours late or later), the athletic competition(s) will be as scheduled.

In event of the opponent school closure or athletic competition is cancelled on the day of an athletic competition, normal practice schedule will be followed and the competition may or may not be re-scheduled.
