Our family dormitory combines both boys and girls who are blind/ visually impaired and deaf/hard of hearing.  Incorporating different ages and genders helps to create an atmosphere of siblings.  Ramiro and Lindsay are staff to kids ages 10-18.  The older students have taken on the roles of "Big Sister" and "Big Brother" with pride.  We encourage participation in a variety of activities from sports, field trips, games and crafts.  We complete homework and study together each evening and instill responsibility as well as values in a loving homelike environment.
