Tennis courts, a swimming pool, two gymnasiums, two running tracks (one with rails for students who are blind/visually impaired), two outdoor basketball courts, softball field, track/football field, two playgrounds, and a two-lane bowling alley are located on campus for the students to use during their leisure time.
The Bulldog Activity Center, located in the gym, is an excellent place for social activities. The center provides an informal space for relaxing, playing games, reading magazines or books, and hosting parties. It is equipped with a pool table, an air hockey table, ping pong table, foosball game, a dart board, bingo board, a TV/VCR, a stereo system and casual furnishings. We usually open the gym for students to play various of games during the evenings. All of this, of course, is contingent upon the student's completion of their homework assignments and their daily chores.
In conjunction with the academic program, the staff strives to create an environment that is both educational and recreational. Through this comprehensive program, students learn how to use their time wisely and how to balance their personal lives with their "school" lives.
