Expanded Core Curriculum
What is Expanded Core Curriculum?
Expanded Core Curriculum (ECC) is the body of knowledge and skills necessary for students who are Blind or have low vision to progress through core curriculum and become independent. These nine areas of specialized instruction are taught in addition to general education courses. Concepts are built into daily classroom instruction, received through individualized pull outs or taught during scheduled ECC class times.
