The CSDB American Sign Language (ASL) Immersion Program for families was held June 18 – June 21, on the CSDB campus. Ten families participated in intensive ASL instruction and activities, with the goal of increasing sign fluency and communication within the families.

The family members interacted with a diverse group of individuals, who are deaf or hard-of-hearing, to expose the family members to a wide array of diverse signing styles. The family members also had opportunities to interact with individuals who are deaf, during mealtimes for social conversations. The participants expressed great appreciation for this program.
