CSDB Homecoming 2019

Students pose while waiting to get their faces painted.CSDB Homecoming, celebrated September 7, hosted many visitors to campus for a variety of events.

The ASL Festival hosted twenty-one vendors, showing their products/services to Homecoming attendees. Alumni members grilled up a wonderful lunch while School District 20 students entertained with Minute-to-Win-It activities.

Male player serves the goalball on the court.The CSDB goalball teams played several great matches against the New Mexico School for the Blind and Visually Impaired teams. During the games, an audio describer announced the action, which was broadcast on the CSDB YouTube channel.  The School for the Blind Homecoming King and Queen were crowned: Jack Lambert and Hannah Skrastins.

Next, the CSDB academic bowl team competed against the Rocky Mountain School for the Deaf team.  There are trivia scholars on both teams..impressive!!

Members of both volleyball teams prepare to play a match on the court.Then, the CSDB volleyball team played against the Weldon Valley team. Both teams rallied well, and there was great sportsmanship displayed by all! Weldon Valley won the match-ups.

Late in the afternoon, the CSDB football team competed against Weldon Valley High School. The teams moved the ball up and down the field well, with the result of CSDB winning the game.
The School for the Deaf Homecoming King and Queen were crowned: Jeremiah Lachin and Priscilla Needs.

We had a great day in CSDB Bulldog country.
