Freshman Job Shadow Day

Students were separated into two groups, based upon a series of interest inventories and stated future goals. One group learned about careers in science and the outdoors, as well as in event planning. They went to Garden of the Gods Visitor Center and to the Broadmoor World Arena. The second group learned about careers in auto mechanics and construction. They went to Tire World Auto Center and Transit Mix Concrete Company. All of the students had a great time and were able to name at least one new career they hadn’t known about in the past.
