Heavenly Hats Parade

Students participated in the Heavenly Hats Parade: a parade dedicated to promoting cancer awareness.   Students paid one dollar to wear any hat they wished for the day, and all of the funds collected went to the Heavenly Hats Foundation. The Foundation buys hats for people who lose their hair due to the treatment of cancer or other medical conditions.

Since its beginnings in 2001, Heavenly Hats has distributed more than 3,900,00 new hats to hundreds of hospitals and clinics around the U.S. Thousands more have been shipped directly to individuals who are in need of head wear for warmth, comfort, courage and strength.
