Setting Goals

It has been a busy start to the school year in Gottlieb Room 108. The first, second, and third graders jumped right into their learning and are excited to get their journey started, this year. Recently, each student met with their teacher, Miss AnneMarie, to choose a goal they want to achieve first quarter. During the meeting, Miss AnneMarie shared each students’ IEP goals with them, then he/she picked a goal area to focus on (reading, writing, or math). Once a goal was chosen, the student identified two steps that he/she would take to arrive at the goal. Students decided they would practice during recess, choice time, and some even decided to practice for homework. We have started working toward our goals, and students are very excited to add their progress to their binders! Miss AnneMarie is very excited to see what each student will accomplish this year. As Bonnie Blair said, we are working on being better than we were before!
