White Cane Day 2019

This day also serves as a reminder for drivers to yield to pedestrians who are blind and using a cane. This year, students and staff from CSDB invited the general public to Acacia Park, in downtown Colorado Springs, for a rally. During this event, the CSDB PRIDE and Bulldog Bands performed, Jessica Beecham, theJessica Beecham presents on stage keynote speaker talked about independence, and students Mikayla and Jack gave their presentations with seriousness and humor. Superintendent Benham thanked everyone for attending on the beautiful day, then students danced and sang to music from the Bulldog Band.
