Have you heard about our new 3D printer, located in Adams Media Center. Below are samples of what it can do?
CSDB Digital Library
Join the digital world and check out some of our new eBooks that are available through CSDB’s Overdrive platform. You only need Internet connection and your student login to borrow our eBooks, which can be accessed through various devices: Android, Apple, Chromebook, Windows, Desktop, Laptop, MP3 Players, Nook, Kindle, etc. We are in the process of building the collection and welcome any suggestions. Need help navigating the digital library, please contact Joyce Smith Media Specialist.
Students may check out books from the library. They may keep the books for up to 3-weeks, which is the same circulation period as the Pikes Peak Library District (PPLD). Students are not charged a fee for books returned late, however, a fee is charged for lost books or books returned damaged beyond repair. Should this occur, parents are notified of the charge.
Library classes are held weekly for our elementary students. During library class time, the librarian may read a story and have them participate in an activity related to the story or one that helps build literacy or information skills.
PPLD sends their mobile library (bookmobile) to our campus twice a month. Our students have an opportunity to borrow print books, Play-A-Ways, Books on CD, DVDs, and computer games from the bookmobile. Students must have a PPLD library card (available at the bookmobile or online) to use this service. Parent signature is required before a card is issued.
